Where is Emberville launching?

As checked on October 3, 2026, the official Steam listing gives October 27, 2026 as the planned Early Access date. It lists Windows and SteamOS/Linux system requirements. The listing identifies the game as single-player and includes Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. A console version is not confirmed by this source. For launch timing and open questions, see the release tracker.

Is there Chinese language support?

Yes. Steam lists both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese for interface and subtitles. It lists full audio for English; the Chinese rows do not show full audio. Other listed interface and subtitle languages include Spanish (Spain), French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. Check the Steam language table before purchase because support can change before release.

What PC specifications are published?

The Steam page currently gives these Windows minimum requirements:

  • Windows 10 or newer and a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz or equivalent
  • 4 GB RAM
  • DirectX 10 compatible graphics card and DirectX 11
  • 4 GB available storage

The SteamOS/Linux section currently shows 4 GB RAM and 4 GB storage as minimums but does not provide the same processor and graphics detail in the listing. A complete recommended configuration is not published there or in the Windows section. These are store-listing requirements, not an independent performance test; wait for hands-on results before promising frame rates or Steam Deck compatibility.

Can I use a controller?

In Steam’s Early Access description, the developer includes keyboard and mouse and controller support in the planned initial content. The store’s current feature badges do not spell out the controller level or list supported devices. Treat those details as unconfirmed until the release build can be checked. The FAQ covers multiplayer and price questions.

For the announced crafting and rebuilding systems, see the life skills overview.
